FAQ

  • I like to maintain a balance between professionalism and an approachable demeanour.
Understanding my clients precedes every interaction; I prioritize getting to know them to create a comfortable atmosphere. This approach allows me to better grasp their vision and adapt my style to suit their preferences. By organizing our engagements while infusing a lighthearted spirit, I strive to ensure that our collaboration is both productive and enjoyable.

  • This depends on the type! Weddings typically require a timeline of 14-18 weeks for completion, influenced by the specific season they occur in. Clients can expect a sneak peek within a 2-week turnaround period.

Individual sessions generally take up to 2 weeks for processing.

I focus on editing one project at a time to ensure that each receives my undivided attention, allowing for the highest quality results.

  • I collaborate with a diverse range of clients, but I firmly believe that compatibility in vibe and personality plays a crucial role in our working relationship. It’s important to recognize that not every pairing is the right fit, and that’s perfectly acceptable. If you find that my style or approach doesn’t align with your vision, I’m more than willing to refer you to another professional who may be better suited to meet your needs. Your satisfaction is what matters most.

  • As a photographer specializing in weddings and couples, I have honed my ability to capture the intimate moments and emotions that define these experiences. My focus on weddings allows me to create timeless memories that couples can cherish for a lifetime. Additionally, when my schedule permits, I offer regular sessions, branding photography, and family portraits. This versatility allows me to connect with a broader range of clients and to adapt my style to suit various needs, while still maintaining the attention to detail and artistry that I bring to my primary work.

  • Expect to have fun, move around a lot, and get creative with your poses.

The sessions are designed to be a blend of essential poses alongside unique and imaginative ideas. By incorporating action poses, we encourage natural movement and elicit genuine reactions, allowing for a more dynamic and enjoyable experience.

  • Yes.

All bookings, from weddings to sessions, require a deposit upon booking and contract signing. Weddings and alike are 35% deposit. Whereas sessions are 50% deposit.

  • Starting with my gear, my camera body features dual slots, which means your photos are saved to two memory cards simultaneously as soon as they are captured. Once I return to the office, I ensure that all images are backed up onto two separate hard drives for added security. Additionally, I avoid clearing my original memory cards until the final editing of the project is completed.

Long story short, your photos are well-protected with my rigorous backup process.

  • Short answer, no.

Long answer is, not every photo turns out no matter how good of a photographer you are. I go through every single photo of your day, one by one. Everything that is not up to my standards, light-wise, or creativity, or things I can’t fix with minor Photoshop, those images are deleted and not included in the final gallery. From there, every image that remains will be edited and included in the final gallery sent to you.

  • I absolutely do.
I have extra special deals for weddings that are located in locations that I’ve been wanting to go. So please reach out to get more information on this!

  • Yes, I do!

I have a mix of three film cameras I like to use, and the choice of which one to utilize depends on the wedding. I’m particularly fond of Portra 160 and 400 films for their exceptional rendering of skin tones and soft light colors.

The cameras I currently have in rotation include the Asahi Pentax K100, Canon AE-1, and my compact Canon Snappy XL. Each camera offers a unique perspective and quality, allowing me to capture the essence of each event in a distinctive way.

  • For the most part, a business casual comprising of mostly black and neutrals is my go-to. However, I once had a client tell me they didn’t want their photographer to wear black because it wasn’t a funeral. That has always stuck with me and changed my view on professional wear, so when the opportunity is given, I like to dress with color and a bit of flair! This being said, I do take my clients' dress code and preferences into account.

  • Certainly. The number of black and white images per gallery can vary. I typically use black and white selectively, incorporating it only when it enhances the photograph. However, if a client requests a higher proportion than my standard approach, I am happy to accommodate that preference.
